APS Home Safe SS 2

APS SS2 is the mid-sized model in the APS Home Series, designed for homeowners who need more space than a compact safe but still want something that fits neatly into wardrobes, study rooms or home offices. With its wider interior, it comfortably stores documents, passports, small electronics, jewellery and emergency cash without feeling cramped.

The SS2 uses the same reinforced body and door construction as the rest of the Home Series, filled with solid material to improve both fire and burglary resistance. Combined with APS’s 3-way locking bars and precise door rebate system, it helps keep the door firmly in place even when attacked at multiple points.

You can choose between a traditional key lock (KL) or a 3-wheel keyless mechanical combination lock (KCL), depending on whether you prefer the simplicity of a key or the convenience of a memorised code. The 3-wheel combination lock offers up to one million possible combinations, using a solid steel latch and die-cast alloy spindle for durability.

Like all APS safes, the SS2 is finished with an epoxy powder-coated textured paint that helps resist scratches and reduces dust build-up, so it continues to look good even in more humid or coastal environments. The neutral, modern finish is designed to blend in with contemporary furniture, so the safe looks like part of your home instead of industrial equipment.
